Bronson McKinney brings nearly a decade of counseling experience to the Texas Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP) team. He is certified in several areas, including
eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, family systems theory, solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), cognitive-based therapy modules, and narrative therapy. Bronson has worked in acute care, substance use disorder counseling, crisis intervention, private practice, trauma, and program development as a licensed professional counselor. He is experienced in supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults through stress, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, grief, substance use, trauma, life transitions, and other challenges.
Bronson earned his undergraduate degree in human services from Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs. He received his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester. Bronson emphasizes compassion, mindfulness, and empowerment in his work.
