Spandana earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Psychology from UT Dallas prior to completing her Masters program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UT Tyler. She currently is a Licensed Professional Counselor within the state of Texas. Spandana has a large amount of experience in higher levels of care, such as inpatient, IOP/PHP programs, and Substance Abuse residential treatment. She has recently worked in other private practice settings and group practices before settling down at Iris Health! She has immense passion to work with those struggling with OCD, as she's trained in ERP, as well as trauma disorders, being educated in using Brainspotting and Internal Family Systems therapeutic approaches. She tends to work mostly with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma related disorders, ADHD, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, and eating disorders. Spandana focuses on the family system when working with adolescents, and tends to manage crises and stabilization well within the office.
