- Shawn Sommerlad received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Prior to attending P.A. school, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in biomedical science, and his Master of Arts in clinical exercise physiology from the University of Texas.
He worked for two years as a research assistant in clinical genetics and microbiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He is married and has two children. In his spare time, Sommerlad enjoys playing sports, reading and spending time with family and friends.
