- Michelle Criss began her nursing career in 2011 caring for cardiac patients in the Midwest. She worked for a time as a traveling nurse before setting down roots in North Texas in 2017. Michelle became board-certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in 2021. Her areas of special focus include cardiac critical care, EKG monitoring and patient education following cardiac interventions.
Michelle earned a bachelor’s degree in dietetics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln before going on to earn a second bachelor’s degree Summa Cum Laude in nursing at Nebraska Methodist College in Omaha. She completed her master’s degree in nursing through Walden University out of Minneapolis, Minn. Michelle is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
