- Dr. Arun Padala is a board-certified cardiologist with focus on the early detection and treatment of coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathies, congestive heart failure, valvular and adult congenital heart disease, cardiac arrhythmias, aortic aneurysm, peripheral vascular disease, hypertension and lipid disorders. Dr. Padala’s additional area of clinical interest is cardiac imaging, including angiography, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He has served as a cardiologist and has trained cardiology fellows and residents in Fort Worth since 2014.
During his career, Dr. Padala has held various hospital staff positions, including vice president of Cardiology, director of Non-invasive Cardiology and director of Structural Heart Disease. He was named a Top Doctor in Cardiology by Fort Worth Magazine in 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. He earned the same distinction from 360 West Magazine in 2019 and 2020. He also has appeared on WFAA Channel 8 in conjunction with Heart Health Month.
Dr. Padala earned his medical degree in Hyderabad, India, before completing his internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut in Farmington. He completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Albany Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Padala is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. When not with his patients, Dr. Padala enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, biking, and playing basketball and football.
