- Dr. Rob Hruska has more than a decade of clinical, research and teaching experience in neurological surgery as a member of the University of Louisville Physicians staff. Hruska earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his neurosurgery residency training at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where he served as chief resident of his class. His areas of special focus include minimally invasive spine surgery and the treatment of spine tumors, degenerative spine disorders and cervical spine deformity. He uses complex and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including endoscopic microdiscectomy and microvascular decompression for the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia, a severe form of facial nerve pain. Dr. Hruska is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Society of Neurological Surgeons.
