- Sonia Lal became certified as a physician assistant in 2021. She is clinically trained in the areas of neurosurgery and general surgery. In the operating room, Sonia has provided surgical assistance for a variety of procedures, including ALIF, TLIF, laminectomy, microdiscectomy, ACDF and craniotomy. She also is experienced in wound care and suturing.
Sonia earned her undergraduate degree in kinesiology/exercise science at the University of Houston in Texas. She has her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwannee, Ga. Sonia is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is fluent in the Punjabi and Hindi languages.
