- Dr. Virginia Tran chose to specialize in general surgery because it combines technical skills with clinical knowledge to provide patients with the utmost in care. As a surgeon, she always has the goal in mind of helping alleviate pain, suffering and disease. Dr. Tran’s clinical interests include chemoport, gallbladders, colon resection, tumor biopsies, and wound/burn care and management. She uses advanced and minimally invasive surgical techniques to promote recovery and healing, including laparoscopy and endoscopy.
Dr. Tran earned her medical degree at the Texas A&M University Health Science Center-College of Medicine in Temple. She completed her general surgery residency at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. In her spare time, Dr. Tran enjoys being with her family and her dogs.
