Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital is committed to working with residents and organizations to make measurable, sustainable improvements in health status of underserved populations in order to fulfill our mission: To improve the health of the people in the communities we serve.
To do this, we formed a Community Health Council, which is a collaboration of many local organizations. They include Arlington Independent School District, City of Arlington, the University of Texas at Arlington, JPS Health Promotions, Tarrant County Public Health, Arlington Life Shelter, Safe Haven, Mission Arlington, East Arlington Support Center, and the United Way. The council meets regularly to address identified community needs by reviewing current programs and services and creating new ones.
Upcoming Events and Programs
In the event of inclement weather, the Sibling, Breastfeeding, Baby Care Basics, Childbirth and Childbirth Refresher classes will follow Arlington ISD for closings and/or cancellations. For more information, please contact Joy Griffin.
