This program is designed to teach the person with diabetes and the person who prepares or influences meal choices the most in his/her life the concepts of healthy eating to maintain a healthy blood sugar level. The participant will also learn about all aspects of caring for and managing diabetes.
Attendees must be diagnosed or pre-diagnosed with diabetes to attend.
This class will cover topics such as:
*Blood Sugar Testing Goals and Schedule
*Meal Planning: How to Eat to Manage Blood Sugar
The class will be held in the The Colorado Room is located in Center for Women on the 1st floor. After passing the 4-way stop at Bonnie Brae and Scripture, you’ll take the third entrance into the parking lot on your left. You’ll then follow the parking lot until it ends and the entrance is located in between the two blue canopies.
