New Moms Group
The Mom's Support Group meets for two hours most Fridays except on holidays.
New Moms is for mothers with babies ages birth through six months, and meets from 12:15 p. m. - 2:00 p. m.
The group is lead by a facilitator and discussion topics are group-driven, such as sleeping, weekly celebrations/challenges, developmental information, feeding and lifestyle changes. Speakers are scheduled at least monthly. Topics have included teething, infant play, infant massage, music programs, making your own baby food, and many more. There is no charge to attend the Moms Support Group.
Wear comfortable clothes and feel free to breastfeed, bottle-feed, diaper change, etc. Bring a blanket to lay the baby down on and something for Mom to eat and drink.
Registration is only required for your first meeting; you may continue attending meetings until your baby begins to crawl or is six months old, whichever comes first, at which time you will be promoted to the Graduate Moms Group.
If bad weather occurs on the day of your scheduled class, please call 972-981-3948 and listen to the recorded message to find out if your class is cancelled.
