We offer complimentary valet service at the entrance to Medical Office Building 2, on the west side of campus off Midway Road. Free, self-parking is available as well. Lots 2 and 3 provide the closest access to our center, but visitors can park anywhere on campus without a gated entrance.

Our Pain Management Approach
  • Our Approach

When you are in pain, finding relief can dominate your life. At the Texas Health Pain Relief & Wellness Center, we offer an integrated approach to tackle your pain symptoms. By bringing together several different specialties, our Center provides you with personalized, comprehensive care.

  • What to Expect

After an initial screening, the Center’s nurse practitioner and physicians on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano create a plan of care tailored to your specific pain. Options for conservative care are exhausted before surgery and even nonsurgical therapies are considered.

Throughout your pain care, you can get the variety of treatments you need at the Center. You won’t need to travel to different locations or worry about physicians communicating with one another. Our goal is to make your path to pain relief an easy one.

Texas Health accepts most major insurers and Medicare. We offer discounts to individuals who pay by cash. Patients will receive separate bills for care received by different providers.

  • What Sets Us Apart

The Joint Commission, the independent organization that provides accreditation for hospital licensing and reimbursement, recently published a recommendation for a more comprehensive approach to pain management care that includes manual, physical and nutrition therapy in addition to traditional medications. As a hospital-based pain management and wellness program, our Center follows this advanced approach.

Because pain is multifaceted, effective treatment requires a coordinated effort by physicians across several different specialties. But this level of collaboration can be very difficult to achieve. Now, Texas Health Plano offers a comprehensive center where different aspects of chronic pain can be addressed, and clinicians can communicate seamlessly with one another to help provide intensive and effective patient care.

  • Pain Relief Care

The American Medical Association and The Joint Commission both recommend robust yet conservative plans when it comes to treating pain. However, in the past, that often meant visits to multiple physicians and specialists, which increased the opportunity for gaps in communication and care. The overwhelming need for coordinated, conservative and specialized care for the management of pain in one convenient location is why the Texas Health Pain Relief & Wellness Center was established.

We offer pain patients access to a variety of treatment methods that range from conservative to surgical.  They include:

    • Myofascial release
    • Chiropractic adjustment
    • Spinal manipulation
    • Deep tissue massage
    • Manual therapy
    • Injections/blocks
    • Medication therapy
    • Behavioral Health
    • Nutrition counseling
    • Physical therapy
    • Occupational therapy
    • Pain management and physical medicine
    • Exercise plans
    • Minimally invasive surgery
    • Pre and post-surgical therapy
    • Cupping therapy
    • Aquatic therapy.
