Microneedling: SkinPen by Bellus Medical
Microneedling is a collagen induction therapy for youthful skin. As we age, the natural architecture of our skin deteriorates, which leads to fine lines and wrinkles, large pores and uneven texture. Collagen induction therapy is a great way to address these signs of aging at the cellular level. Microneedling creates thousands of micro- injuries to the skin to trigger the body’s natural wound healing process.
Microneedling is great for treatment of fine lines, acne scars, large pores and overall improvement to the skin texture. There is very minimal downtime after treatment.
At home care plays a key role in optimizing the results of microneedling. At our practice, we use the SkinPen device and offer SkinFuse products for home care during the collagen induction process.
SkinFuse is a designed skincare regimen specifically designed to boost the cell renewal process. The 90-day protocol increases the opportunity for optimal results.
