Staying Close to Baby with Occasional Breastfeeding

Even if you choose not to pump milk at work, you may still be able to continue breastfeeding by nursing your baby first thing in the morning, when you reunite at the end of the day, and again before your baby goes to bed at night.

Many working mothers are able to keep breastfeeding while using formula during the day, maintaining the physical and emotional closeness of nursing for many months.

This message is not intended to provide individual medical advice. Always seek the advice of a physician or qualified healthcare provider for any questions you have about your health or medical condition, your breastfeeding issues and your infant's health. Never disregard, avoid or delay contacting a doctor or other qualified professional because of something you have read in our emails, webpages or other electronic communications.
