Grateful Hearts program - Texas Health Resources Foundation

Birthday Buddies

Children enrolled in our Birthday Buddies program help support the needs of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth’s NICU.  In lieu of birthday presents, your child asks their birthday party guests to bring a monetary donation to benefit the NICU. Simply fill out an online application and the Texas Health Resources Foundation will provide everything your child needs to send to birthday party guests. For more information, contact Susan Dalton at 682-236-5232.

Grateful Hearts

With our Grateful Hearts program, you can make a difference by helping support vital hospital programs and services, and nursing excellence in recognition of your outstanding caregiver(s). By doing so, your caregiver(s) will be honored with a special recognition pin, and your gratitude will easily be turned into lasting support that will impact future patients and families for years to come. For more information, contact Charlyn Webb at 214-345-5044.

Nursing Excellence Fund

The system-wide Nursing Excellence Fund is designed to provide scholarships that increase the number of baccalaureate prepared nurses serving patients at Texas Health hospitals. A focus of the fund is to channel scholarship support to students in the Accelerated Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the University of Texas at Arlington, with a goal of fully funding tuition for 80 students enrolled in the program each year. The fund also supports the clinical nurse leader program. For more information, or to find out how you can help support the program, contact Shannon Fisher at 214-345-5965.
