American Society of Healthcare Risk Management Patient Safety Award from the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management, 2022
U.S. News & World Report’s 2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 Best Hospitals reports ranked three Texas Health hospitals among the best in Dallas-Fort Worth and Texas:
- Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas — tied for the No. 3 rank in DFW and tied for 14th in Texas; rated as high performing in COPD, colon cancer surgery, diabetes, heart attack, heart failure, hip replacement, kidney failure, knee replacement, ovarian cancer surgery and stroke. Earlier this year, Texas Health Dallas was designated as a Level I Trauma Center by the Texas Department of State Health Services for providing advanced care to severely injured patients in North Texas.
- Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth — tied for No. 5 in DFW and tied for 16th in Texas; rated as high performing in back surgery (spinal fusion), COPD, heart failure, hip replacement, kidney failure and knee replacement and orthopedics. Texas Health Southwest was also recognized as “high performing” in orthopedics in the report’s national adult specialties rankings.
- Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth — placed No. 8 in DFW and rated as high performing in colon cancer surgery, COPD, diabetes, heart attack, heart bypass surgery, heart failure, kidney failure and stroke. Texas Health Fort Worth also holds The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Neurotrauma Certification, the first hospital in the country to receive this recognition for providing high-acuity neuroscience services.
