We currently accept BlueCross Blue Shield, Aetna and United Healthcare. We also accept Medicare in select states (AZ, GA, NC). We do not yet accept Medicare or Medicaid elsewhere but are working on expanding our coverage.
95% of our in-network patients meet with a dietitian at no cost. If for some reason there is an associated cost for your visit, we will always let you know ahead of your visit to give you time to plan.
If your insurance denies payment or your claim applies to a deductible but you still have to pay out-of-pocket, we will not charge you for any sessions that have already occurred. Our care team will work with you to discuss and determine the best options for your nutrition care.
If your claim processes with either a copay or coinsurance amount, you are financially responsible for those amounts. If you have questions regarding a possible copay or coinsurance, please contact your insurance provider directly about benefits for medical nutritional therapy.
If you are out-of-network with us, you can still meet with one of our RDs for $150 per initial session, and $75 for every session thereafter.
Insurance must be active at the time of your appointment. If your insurance becomes inactive and you wish to continue your sessions, you will be considered an out-of-network patient and charged $75 per session.
If you have any questions, please email support@seasonhealth.com.
At Season, we believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition care, and our approach to your care is personalized to your individual health, lifestyle, and goals. Your dietitian will get to know you, understand your goals and setbacks, and work with you to achieve sustainable, long-term success.
Most patients meet with their dietitian at least 3 times, and start to see lasting change after 6 appointments. Typically, patients pay $0 out-of-pocket to meet with a registered dietitian and are fully covered by their insurance plan.
