Scheduled to open in fall 2012, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance is located near the intersection of Interstate 35W and Golden Triangle Boulevard.
The project totals approximately 189,000 square feet, including a full-service hospital that has outpatient and surgical services, a 24-hour emergency room, intensive care unit, women's and infant care, six labor and recovery suites and 14 post-partum rooms, diagnostic testing, physician offices and 36 inpatient acute-care inpatient beds (with the potential to house up to 350 beds).
The new hospital campus will provide quality healthcare services for residents of north Fort Worth, Keller, North Richland Hills, Haslet and surrounding communities.
"Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance will allow us the opportunity to accommodate patients throughout Tarrant and surrounding counties," says Winjie Tang Miao, hospital president.
As part of the Texas Health Resources system, Texas Health Alliance will work with other hospitals in the system so patients receive the care they need.
A medical office building for physicians and other healthcare providers is being constructed on the campus, providing patients and their families convenient access to health care services in one location.
“Texas Health has had a presence in north Tarrant County since two physician office buildings were opened in 2006, and we are excited about expanding these services,” Miao said. “As the health care industry begins to change, we are rethinking how we deliver care. Our goal is simple: to provide the services our patients need in the most cost-effective and convenient way.”
