Visitor Information
Patients may receive visitors at any time (specialty units, including Behavioral Health, may have some variation). Please check with the nurse regarding specific unit visiting hours and quiet time guidelines, or if you have any special needs or requests.
For safety reasons, latex balloons or other latex products are not allowed (mylar balloons are allowed).
Texas Health Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) We are looking for patients, family members, caregivers or community members who want to help Texas Health improve the patient experience. Follow the link to complete the PFAC intake survey.
People of all faiths are welcome to use the chapel, located on the first floor of the hospital. If you need a chaplain, please ask the nurse or call 817-848-4000.
Neuroscience Program

Brandon Goertz, PhD, FACHE, serves as president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford, assuming the role in October 2024.
Brandon has played an integral role in Texas Health HEB’s success since he joined the hospital in 2019. He’s an engaging leader who has worked collaboratively across the facility and within the system to improve operations, quality and experience for our consumers.
Brandon led efforts to help increase employee engagement scores to above the 90th percentile nationally, helped the hospital achieve its highest net income in history and implemented expense reduction projects that further improved the hospital’s financial health.
He joined Texas Health after serving in several leadership positions at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System in East Texas. Before working in healthcare, Brandon was a lab instructor and researcher in the fields of biology and neuroscience at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He was also published in the Journal of Neuroscience, Journal of Addiction Biology and Journal of Neuropsychopharmacology.
He received his Ph.D. in biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University. Brandon is board-certified in healthcare management through the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He is also a certified project management professional and a Lean/Six Sigma black belt.
When not at work, Brandon enjoys playing tennis and golf, scuba diving, sailing and spending time with his wife, Julie, and their children, Jackson and Margaret.
Missy Angeley, Chief Nursing Officer
Missy Angeley
Missy Angeley, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, serves as the chief nursing officer at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford. In this role, Missy is responsible for the management of nursing practice, nursing education, professional development, nursing research and nursing administration.
Missy joined Texas Health Resources in 2009 as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Texas Health HEB. She quickly became the Emergency Department manager and held positions of increasing responsibility at the hospital including being promoted to associate chief nursing officer in 2022. Missy helped launch the Texas Health HEB Leader Learning Lab and Make a Memory Program, and she supported and restructured the Professional Governance Committee, a key component of our nursing culture.
Missy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Texas Christian University and a Master of Science in nursing administration from Post University’s American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences. She is currently studying to earn a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Post University. Missy completed the American Organization for Nursing Leadership’s Nurse Director Fellowship in 2022.
Missy was named to the DFW Great 100 Nurses list and received Texas Health’s Mosaic Pin. She has served as an emcee and executive team member for Tarrant County Go Red for Women, and in her hometown of Ponder, Missy serves on the Ponder Education Foundation board.
Missy and her husband, Ben, have two children: Henry and Georgia. She says that when she is not driving her children to their sporting activities, she enjoys traveling, running and crafting.
Scott David Lloyd, Chief Quality and Medical Officer
Scott David Lloyd, M.D.Scott David Lloyd, M.D., M.B.A., is chief quality and medical officer of Texas Health HEB.
He was previously medical director for care management at North Texas Specialty Physicians (NTSP)/Silverback for four years. In this role, he provided medical oversight of the utilization management, disease management and complex case management for over 80,000 Medicare Advantage members. During this period, he also was medical director of the Care N’ Care Insurance Company.
While at NTSP/Silverback, Lloyd developed a nationally recognized community paramedicine program with emergency medical services provider MedStar that closes gaps in care for many local Medicare members. He also led the development of a palliative care program for the plan membership.
Lloyd also served as a hospitalist with Texas Health Physicians Group, working primarily at Texas Health Fort Worth. He is board certified in internal medicine and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.
