About Mike
Mike played baseball for four years as a scholarship athlete at McLennan Community College and Texas Christian University. After college, he became an avid runner and completed six marathons, with a personal best of 3:17. He has a particular interest in working with baseball players and runners.

Craig played football for four years at Texas Christian University. In graduate school, he worked as a physical therapist and athletic trainer for the University of Virginia athletics department. He has a particular interest in clinical research involving the prevention and treatment of knee, shoulder and elbow injuries in athletes.

Kevin played soccer as a scholarship athlete at Coastal Carolina and at the club level at the University of Oklahoma. He has a particular interest in working with post-surgical knee patients as well as patients with lower extremity biomechanical dysfunctions.


Kiley Cohen, PT, DPT, MPT, SCS, CSCS

About Kiley
Kiley is a former basketball player and now an avid runner. She earned her doctorate degree in physical therapy from Regis University and her master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Kiley is a board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She is a member of the Orthopedic and Sports Sections of the American Physical Therapy Association, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and is a credentialed clinical instructor. Kiley enjoys working with all sports medicine patients and has a particular interest in working with young female athletes, overhead athletes, and runners.


Dustin Dixon, PT, DPT

About Dustin
Dustin received a bachelor’s degreen in health science from Louisiana Tech University in 2004 and completed a doctorate of physical therapy from Louisiana State University-Shreveport in 2009. He enjoys aiding all sports medicine patients through the rehabilitation process drawing from his prior experiences in basketball, marathon training, and three years of clinical practice. His specific interests include rehabilitation of the shoulder and furthering manual therapy skill sets.


Sarah Noll, PT, DPT, ATC, LAT

About Sarah
Sarah received a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science in 2004 and her Master's of Science in Physical Therapy in 2006 from Texas State University. As part of her undergraduate degree from Texas State, she completed the Athletic Training program which included working with the volleyball, women's basketball, and track teams, and she later received her state license and national certification as an Athletic Trainer. She went on to complete her Doctorate in physical therapy and graduated from Regis University in 2010.

About Marty
After playing four years of college baseball, Marty played three years of professional baseball in the minor leagues and one year in Italy. Marty has coached high school and college athletes and treated many professional athletes during his 25 years as a physical therapist.


Robert Knight, PT, DPT, MSPT

About Robert
Robert grew up playing competitive soccer and competed on a U.S. national youth soccer team where he gained international experience in Europe. He also has experience in competitive swimming. While at Baylor University, Robert ran track and cross country. He competed at the NCAA nationals in cross country and was the Southwest Conference champion at 1,500 meters and 5,000 meters. He also competed in several triathlons.
Robert is skilled in orthopedic manual therapy (OMPT) and target-tissue-training through a medical exercise therapy (MET) approach.


Ryan Blankenship, MPT

About Ryan
Ryan received a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science from Abilene Christian University in 2001 and a master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in 2004. Prior to working with Ben Hogan, Ryan worked for another orthopedic out patient clinic and was head of the Back to Golf program. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the sports section of the APTA.

Keith enjoys working with all types of athletes during the rehabilitation process. He is currently pursuing his Orthopedic Clinical specialty and plans on working towards his Sports Clinical specialty in the near future.


John Howard, PT, DPT

About John
John received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelor’s of Health Science from the University of Oklahoma. John completed a 10 week clinical internship with Ben Hogan Sports Medicine prior to beginning full time. His interests as a Physical Therapist include injury prevention – ACL injury prevention, rehabilitation of overhead athlete and manual therapy. John is a 3rd generation physical therapist. His grandmother and both parents were all physical therapists.

About Kyle
Kyle received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelor’s of Health Sciences from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Kyle hold’s memberships in the American Physical Therapy Association (Sports Section), Texas Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Kyle had several orthopedic affiliations prior to becoming a licensed Physical Therapist including an internship at Ben Hogan Sports Medicine. His interests as a Physical Therapist include sports and manual physical therapy.

Phillip is a senior at the University of Texas at Arlington working on the Athletic Training program, injury prevention, and rehabilitation in a variety of settings. Phillip will attend Physical Therapy school after graduating May 2012.

About Laura
Laura Clymore received a Bachelor of Biological Sciences degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where she also played volleyball as a scholarship athlete from 2004-2008 and attained nationally ranked status. Since graduation, Laura has been a Physical Therapy technician in both outpatient orthopedic clinics and acute-care settings. She has plans to go back to school to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Joe received a bachelor’s degree in clinical exercise science from Ithaca College in 2009 and a doctorate in physical therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2012. Upon completion of his residency program, Joe plans to sit for the sports certified specialist examination.

Matt received a bachelor's degree in athletic training from West Chester University in May 2010and a master's degree in athletic training from Texas State University in May 2012. At Texas State, he served as the athletic trainer for the volleyball team and taught laboratory classes in the undergraduate athletic training program.

Gina received a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in May 2012. During her education, she held internships with a college summer baseball league and a semi-pro football team for two summers each.

Skylar Richards, ATC, MS, FMS, CMT

About Skylar
Skylar Richards has served as an MLS Athletic Trainer since 2006 and with FC Dallas since 2011. Richards integrates sports science with Athletic Training, working closely with the Strength and Conditioning Staff to utilize measurements such as heart rate monitoring, body composition, heart rate variability, and sensory training. A certified massage therapist and Functional Movement Screen (FMS) specialist, he works closely with fellow ATCs Paul Lombardo and Jonathan Hancock to coordinate with the first team staff and supervise the Sports Medicine interns.
Richards receiving his B.S. in Athletic Training from the University of Evansville, where he also served as the interim strength coach for a semester, before becoming a football Athletic Training Graduate Assistant at the University of Akron, where he earned a master's degree in Exercise Physiology. Most recently he worked as the Strength Coach/Assistant ATC with the Colorado Rapids (2012) and as The Columbus Crew Assistant ATC (2007-2011 seasons).

J.D. holds degrees from Texas A&M University (2001) and Stephen F. Austin State University (2003). Prior to joining Texas Health Ben Hogan Sports Medicine, J.D. worked as a Minor League Athletic Trainer for the Houston Astros Baseball Club. His affiliations and memberships include the National Athletic Trainers Association and Southwest Athletic Trainers Association. J.D. enjoys working with the collegiate level athlete in all sports.

About Jonathan
Jonathan holds a bachelor's degree in exercise, sports and health studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and will receive master's degree in applied cognition and neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas in December. His affiliations and memberships include the National Athletic Trainers Association, Southwest Athletic Trainers Association, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and North Texas Athletic Trainer Society. Jonathan grew up playing competitive soccer, baseball, and football. As an athletic trainer, Jonathan enjoys working with athletes from a variety of sports. Before joining Texas Health Ben Hogan Sports Medicine, Jonathan worked as a rehabilitation coordinator at Colorado College and Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation in Colorado Springs.

Sports Dietitian

Amy Goodson, MS, RD, CSSD, LD
Amy Goodson is the sports dietitian for Texas Health Ben Hogan Sports Medicine. She received a bachelor of science degree in speech communications from Texas Christian University in 2003 and went on to get her master’s degree in exercise and sports nutrition in 2006 while also working towards her registration and license to become a registered dietitian. Amy works with athletes and professional athletes of all ages in addition to everyday exercisers. She also speaks to community groups, booster clubs and at continuing education conferences. Amy serves as the sports dietitian for TCU Athletics, the Jim McLean Golf School and a variety of professional athletes, including Major League Baseball and PGA Tour players, USA Track and Field athletes and UFC fighters. Amy also serves as an adjunct nutrition professor for Texas Woman’s University and Texas Christian University. Amy is passionate about helping people find the missing link in their program — nutrition.

About Brian
Brian grew up playing competitive baseball and football. Brian is currently sitting on the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Directors. Before joining Texas Health Ben Hogan Sports Medicine, Brian worked nine years as a high school athletic trainer, two years as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Texas at Arlington, one year as the head athletic trainer of the Dusseldorf RheinFire of the World League of American Football, seven years as head athletic trainer at UTA and one year as an assistant athletic director at UTA. Brian has been with Ben Hogan Sports Medicine since its inception in 2002.

About Ken
Ken holds degrees from North Texas State University (1973) and Texas Woman's University (1976). He was an assistant athletic trainer for the Dallas Cowboys from 1973-90. He joined the Southwest Athletic Trainers Association (SWATA) Hall of Fame in 2001, the NATA Hall of Fame in 2002 and Texas Woman's University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008. His primary interest is sports concussions.

About Scott
Prior to joining Texas Health Ben Hogan Sports Medicine, Scott was head athletic trainer at DeSoto High School. He holds a bachelor's degree in health education from Texas A&M University. Scott is licensed by the Texas Department of Health and Certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association to practice as an Athletic Trainer. Scott has received numerous awards throughout his career, including Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association James “Doc” Dodson New Horizon Award, Eddie Wojecki Award for service to SWATA, and John W. Harvey Humanitarian Award for positively impacting ethnic minority athletic trainers and/or physically active ethnic minority individuals. Scott currently serves as the Board Chair and Region 4 Director for the Texas State Athletic Trainers Association.

Mike served as the athletic trainer for Euless Trinity High School for 27 years and at Richland High School for seven years prior to his tenure at Trinity.
