Health Fairs
Our Mobile Health Services participates in some of southern Tarrant and Johnson counties' largest health fairs. The mobile unit can provide blood pressure, skin cancer screenings, height and weight, and low-cost screenings for osteoporosis and diabetes. Education is also a large aspect of the mobile unit's participation.
-
Flu Shots
We provide low-cost flu shots yearly from August through February. Last year, the unit gave over 3,000 immunizations against the flu. Check back on our online calendar in mid-August to see where we will be giving shots.
-
Immunizations
The Mobile Unit gives childhood immunizations through the Vaccine for Children initiative and the Fort Worth Public Health Department to children ages 24 months to 18 years old. Immunizations are given at health fairs, monthly community location sites and local schools or almost anytime the mobile unit is available.
