ARLINGTON, Texas — Cigna recently began notifying employers, providers and members that Southwestern Health Resources physicians and facilities will be out of network if our two sides do not reach an agreement by Dec. 31, 2019.
Southwestern Health Resources, the clinically integrated network made up of Texas Health Resources and UT Southwestern Medical Center, is proud to be a driving force of high-quality, affordable care for all North Texans.
Despite our tireless efforts to reach a fair agreement, we have not been successful. We are disappointed by this but remain hopeful that we will reach an agreement that is in the best interest of employers, physicians and, most importantly, patients.
Cigna members who have questions about coverage should call the number on the back of their insurance card.
