TMF award spotlights exemplary results

CLEBURNE, Texas — Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne has received the TMF Hospital Quality Improvement Silver Award from the TMF® Health Quality Institute. The award recognizes hospitals in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri for quality initiatives designed to improve outcomes in patient care as well as performance in national quality measures.

“We are honored to be recognized for our continued commitment to quality improvement,” said Ajith Pai, Pharm.D., FACHE, president, Texas Health Cleburne. “This award is a reflection of the hard work of our employees to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve.”

As one of 50 Silver Award recipients, Texas Health Cleburne met thresholds for 75 percent of eligible measures and demonstrated a 10 percent reduction in patient readmissions during the 2016-2017 evaluation period.

The TMF Hospital Quality Improvement Award program is sponsored by TMF, the Arkansas Hospital Association, Oklahoma Hospital Association, Texas Hospital Association and Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals. This program was established in 2004 as a non-competitive recognition program designed to identify exemplary outcomes achieved by hospitals.
