System ranked No. 38 on prestigious national list

ARLINGTON, Texas — Texas Health Resources is proud to announce that it has been named to the 2019 Companies that Care list by People magazine and Great Place to Work,® taking the No. 38 spot.

The winners are selected from organizations that embrace programs that promote inclusion, support and are committed to creating a great workplace. Texas Health is the only North Texas-based company to be ranked and the eighth highest health care organization.

“It’s truly an honor to be included on this list and recognized for the amazing programs that make a difference in the lives of our employees and the people in the communities we serve,” said Michelle Kirby, executive vice president and chief people officer of Texas Health.

A few examples of how Texas Health demonstrates their caring nature are through multiple veterans’ programs, the Nursing Career Advancement Program (NCAP), and the annual Community Responsibility and Sustainability Report.

The rankings for the Companies that Care list are based on feedback from employee surveys. Participants answered questions about a variety of topics, including being treated with respect, opportunities for professional development and team work.
