Review showcases environmental, social and governance practices that enhance organizational sustainability, community health and well-being

ARLINGTON, Texas — Texas Health Resources celebrated its 25th anniversary by expanding consumers’ access to seamless, safe and equitable care, strengthening mental health support and security protections for its employees, and advancing diversity, equality and inclusion across the system and throughout the communities it serves. These efforts are outlined in the system’s 2022 Social Purpose Report, released today.

Texas Health has provided care through 36 million patient encounters over the past 25 years.

“Since our inception, Texas Health has provided care through 36 million patient encounters, delivered 640,000 babies and administered hundreds of thousands of influenza and COVID-19 vaccines,” said CEO Barclay Berdan, FACHE. “We have a legacy to be proud of, and we’ve made a difference in the lives of millions of North Texans over the last quarter-century. In our 2022 Social Purpose Report, we share our progress toward realizing our Vision of partnering with individuals for a lifetime of health and well-being and highlight how we are continually evolving and responding to both opportunities and disruptions.”
