Fortune Best Workplaces caregivers

This is the ninth year in a row that Texas Health makes the list. The analysis, which is compiled by Great Place To Work® and Fortune magazine, highlights Texas Health’s efforts to foster an environment that supports employees’ work and well-being.

“We are proud to be recognized for building an organization that promotes the successes and best work of our team members,” said Carla Dawson, chief people officer at Texas Health. “We nurture collaboration, respect, empathy and integrity — professional traits that help build a strong work culture.”

The Best Workplaces award is based on an analysis of survey responses from over 208,000 employees at Great Place To Work Certified companies in the healthcare industry.

Texas Health maintains a strong working environment for more than 28,000 employees who serve and care for patients in a 16-county area of North Texas. Texas Health offers employees a generous 401(k) program with company match, paid time off and time to volunteer in their communities. Benefits also include competitive healthcare choices and a variety of wellness programs aimed at keeping employees and their families healthy.

Texas Health also created pathways for employees to further their education and professional development, including tuition reimbursement, a student loan repayment program and leadership development.

This focus on employee success and well-being has been recognized by several publications and organizations in 2023. Texas Health ranked No. 6 on the Fortune Best Workplaces in Texas list and No. 66 on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list. It also was one of 50 companies nationwide honored with Business Group on Health’s Best Employers: Excellence in Health & Well-being Award, for its outstanding commitment to advancing employee well-being through comprehensive and innovative benefits and initiatives.
