“We’re honored to hear our community has voted our hospital as the best to have a baby in Collin County,” said Fraser Hay, hospital president. “We’re so thankful that families continue to choose and recommend us as the destination of choice for labor and delivery services.”

What sets Texas Health Plano apart from other hospitals in the area is the variety of services it offers to patients experiencing high-risk pregnancies. The Level IV maternal care facility includes a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), which is in the final stages of a $3.9 million expansion to benefit the growing needs of Collin County.

“We’re so proud of the team for their hard work and dedication toward offering support and personalized care for a safe and memorable childbirth experience. Receiving quality patient care is why families continue to choose Texas Health Plano,” said Michelle Kelly, B.S.N, R.N., RNC-NIC, director of Women and Infants Services at Texas Health Plano.

Texas Health Plano ended 2023 with 3,072 births. More than 24,000 babies were born at Texas Health Resources hospitals in 2023.
