FLOWER MOUND, Texas — Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound recently earned its inaugural Advanced Spine Surgery Certification from DNV. The recognition reflects a facility's commitment and ability to provide safe, high-quality care to patients requiring complex treatment for musculoskeletal spine and lower back conditions.

“Earning certification at a national level for our spine surgery program is an incredible honor,” said John Klitsch, MBA, FACHE, Texas Health Flower Mound president. “It exemplifies that our dedicated team of physicians on the medical staff and hospital employees strive to provide high-quality medical care to our patients.”

Texas Health Flower Mound has more than 500 physicians on the medical staff addressing a broad range of care for every stage of life, including complex spine surgery.

“This rigorous certification outlines specific guidelines, along with an annual survey,” said Lisa Lacore, M.P.A.S., PA-C, Spine Surgery Program coordinator. “We are committed to empowering and improving patients’ lives, from presurgical consultation to surgery, rehabilitation services, and follow-up visits with the surgeon.”

Texas Health Flower Mound’s strong outcomes and patient care would not be possible without the full support of everyone involved, from the physicians on the medical staff to hospital leaders, nurses and employees, said Lacore.

“When you have individuals invested in providing patients the best care and outcomes possible, striving for excellence each day, it makes every second and every extra step worthwhile.”
