FRISCO, Texas — Texas Health Hospital Frisco will soon begin the build out of its seventh floor, a $25 million project that will add 30 new patient rooms to the hospital’s medical/surgical unit. The renovation, which is part of the hospital’s planned growth since opening in 2019, is expected to be completed in fall 2026. Patient care will not be impacted by the new construction.

“We understand that earning and keeping the trust of our patients and neighbors requires not only excellent care, but access when they need it,” said Tiffany Northern, FACHE, president of Texas Health Frisco. “This expansion enables us to continue to meet those needs today and into the future.”

Since opening in 2019, the hospital completed a $25 million build out of its sixth floor in 2023 that added 30 medical/surgical beds and two additional operating suites. And, in October 2024, Texas Health Frisco opened its third gastroenterology (GI) suite to accommodate the greater demand for digestive health services.
