Every study is reviewed for participant safety
The Texas Health IRB is a committee established under federal regulations that reviews human subject research to assure that the rights and welfare of human subjects are adequately protected.

THR maintains its own Human Research Protections Program (HRPP) and all studies must be reviewed and approved by THR HRPP prior to initiating a study at THR.
