Our orthopedic surgeons have been helping lead the way in hip and knee replacement for over 50 years. The center was founded in 1972 by total joint replacement pioneer Dr. William C. Head, who recognized that a dedicated total joint center would provide optimal surgical care and ongoing support to people suffering from painful, and often debilitating, joint conditions.
