Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano offers advanced perinatal and neonatal care.

  • High-Risk OB
  • Neonatal ICU

High Risk OB

You never expect to need more than routine prenatal care when you are pregnant; however, it's important to choose to deliver at a hospital that specializes in high-risk care for you and your baby — just in case.

A team of board-certified maternal-fetal specialists on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano are available to care for women with high-risk pregnancies. On duty 24 hours a day, these specialists provide care for you and your infant from time of admission to discharge. They also work closely with your obstetrician, if needed, to assist with the birthing process.

Should your newborn need specialized care, our Level III NICU is just steps away from Labor and Delivery.

Neonatal ICU

Texas Health Plano offers advanced services for the most complex and high-risk infants. Our Level III (highest capability) neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is staffed by neonatologists, pediatric sub-specialists and neonatal nurse practitioners who are dedicated to providing expert care to babies born with special health needs.

Texas Health Plano has a long history of providing advanced care to infants.

We understand that having a baby in the NICU can be stressful, so we encourage parents to visit often, ask questions and become as involved as possible in their little one's care. Services in the NICU are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day and can be accessed with CareFlite air ambulances, fixed-wing or ground ambulance service.
