Healthcare veteran Tiffany Northern tapped to lead facility operations

Dallas — Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas has named Tiffany Northern, FACHE, as chief operating officer. In this role, Northern will provide administrative direction for all ancillary and support areas of the hospital. She will also be responsible for achieving the financial, operational and service delivery objectives of the hospital.

Northern joins Texas Health Dallas from MedStar Health in Washington, D.C., where she held the role of vice president of operations for the past three years. In that role, she was responsible for developing and achieving measurable goals in alignment with the system’s vision while managing 20 ancillary and support service departments.

Prior to that, Northern served as an associate chief operating officer for HCA Healthcare in Las Vegas. Northern earned her board certification in healthcare management in 2011 and is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).

She graduated from Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and she earned a master’s degree in health administration from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida.
