ARLINGTON, Texas – Texas Health Resources has named Josh Floren senior vice president for the Hospital Channel and Becky Tucker senior vice president of channel integration. They will be responsible for operational areas and systemwide initiatives to advance the health system’s transformation to a more consumer-centric organization. The promotions are effective June 5.

Josh Floren

Floren currently serves as president of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. Since then, he has led the facility in earning several clinical designations, including Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Primary Heart Attack Center, Level IV NICU and Level IV Maternal Center.

In his new role as senior vice president for the Hospital Channel, Floren will report to Kirk King, Hospital Channel chief operating officer. Floren and his wife, Valerie, have been married for 17 years and have a 14-year-old son, Jackson; a 12-year-old son, Brooks; and an 8-year-old daughter, Charlotte.

Becky Tucker

Tucker currently serves as president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth. She started at Texas Health in 2004 as an administrative assistant, then worked as an administrative resident and continued her career climb at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. She led the introduction of Neighborhood Care & Wellness Centers and moved to Texas Health Southwest as president in 2018.

While at Texas Health Southwest, Tucker and her team opened a STEMI heart attack care program, obtained Level III Trauma designation and Level III Maternal designation, and doubled the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to 16 beds while also earning a Level III NICU designation.

As senior vice president of channel integration, Tucker will report to Winjie Miao, Texas Health chief operating officer. She will oversee care integration across the Texas Health network and functions across all patient care in the following areas: Central Staffing Office/Patient Logistics Center, Virtual Care Center – patient access and navigation, Patient and Family Experience, Ambulatory Strategic Partnership Operations, Business Growth, Transformation Management, Operational Design & Deployment, and Business Continuity.

Tucker enjoys parenting Tavin, 9, and Landon, 4, with her husband, Toby. They spend much of their time at the ballfields and outside with their dogs, Stella and Whiskey.

“Josh and Becky bring a wealth of operational and strategic experience to their new roles. I’m excited to be working with them to advance innovation and our priorities in a coordinated fashion across the system,” Miao said.

Floren and Tucker will continue to support their respective hospitals as needed to ensure a seamless leadership transition as Texas Health works to fill the hospital presidency positions.
