Transnasal endoscopy is an option provided for patients who cannot tolerate sedation for endoscopy. A small 3mm fiberoptic camera is briefly placed in the nostril and gently advanced into the esophagus and stomach to evaluate for any abnormalities. Biopsies can also be obtained at the same time.
