Texas Health Hospital Mansfield is a joint venture involving Texas Health Resources and AdventHealth. Texas health holds a majority ownership share and AdventHealth manages operations of the hospital. Texas Health Mansfield continues the tradition of healthcare that recognizes that total health is achieved through the proper balance of physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being.

General visiting hours are from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Specialty units may have some variations. Please check with your nurse regarding specific unit visiting hours and quiet time guidelines or if you have any special needs or requests.
- The number of visitors in a Med/Surg inpatient’s room is not limited. We have accommodations for one support person to spend the night. In CCU/ICU, visitation is generally limited to 2 visitors at a time.
- Children visitors must be accompanied by an adult and should not be left unattended without adult supervision.
- For labor and delivery patients, one visitor in the triage area and open visitation during labor and delivery. (Visitation at any time may be limited at the discretion of the healthcare providers.)
- Two visitors are allowed to accompany a patient in the pre-surgery waiting area. No visitors are allowed in PACU.
- No more than two visitors per emergency room department patient will be allowed after initial assessment and examination by the physician and procedures are completed.

Lunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Communication
We have services to accommodate and/or assist any need i.e., visual, auditory and language interpretation. Please do not hesitate to request any of these aids to assist during your stay.
Chapel
The chapel is in the main hospital lobby and it is open 24/7. We welcome people of all faiths.
Chaplain Services
A hospital chaplain is available for prayer, support and counseling. A chaplain is on call 24 hours a day. Email us.
Check-in
All patients arriving for surgery or a procedure inside the hospital should check in at the Information Desk located in the admitting lobby. Patients can pre-register by submitting registration information in advance of your scheduled appointment. Open from Monday – Friday 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. or call 817-568-3265.
Tobacco and Smoke-Free Environment
For the health and well-being of our patients, visitors, employees and physicians, all Texas Health campuses are tobacco-free and smoke-free campuses (including e-cigarettes). This policy applies to all patients, employees, visitors and physicians on the medical staff.

Breast Care
Our breast care team works closely with our imaging team to screen for cancer and other abnormalities. Routine screening mammograms help us ensure you are healthy through every age and stage. If an irregularity is suspected, we can take a closer look with advanced breast cancer recognition techniques like diagnostic mammograms that produce 3D imaging and biopsies that remove breast tissue for deeper analysis. If you find yourself facing a diagnosis, we’ll collaborate with our cancer team to make sure we create a plan that treats your condition while supporting your whole health.

Emergency Services
Texas Health Mansfield has emergency room teams available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you or a loved one experience severe pain without any explanation or a sudden downturn in your health, trust your intuition and call 911 or head to the ER.
Certain conditions and injuries always deserve emergency care, including:
- Complex fractures
- Coughing up or vomiting blood
- Deep wounds
- Extreme allergic reactions
- Heart attacks
- Poisoning
- Serious difficulty breathing
- Serious head injury
- Severe burns
- Stroke
