- Pediatric Emergency Medicine (4 weeks; off-site at Cook Children’s Medical Center)
- Pre-Hospital Care (2 weeks; EMS)
- Toxicology (4 weeks; off-site at North Texas Poison Control Center)
*Orientation shortened to 2 weeks for internal PGY2 EM residents having completed their PGY1 residency at THFW.

All required and elective rotations are 4 weeks, unless otherwise noted.

*Staffing Requirement: Decentralized, 10-hour shifts in the ED; 16 weekends (every third weekend) plus 1 major holiday (2 day commitment)

Prospective Residents
Residents who successfully complete our program will be prepared to provide patient care, seek board certifications and pursue PGY-2 residencies.
