Advanced Endoscopic Procedures
  • TIF (Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication) Acid Reflux Surgery

A minimally invasive procedure designed to reposition and reconstruct a durable anti-reflux valve while also tightening the Lower Esophageal Sphincter (LES) to restore the body’s natural protection against reflux. It is performed endoscopically through the mouth, meaning there are no incisions necessary.

  • Endoscopic Mucosal Resection

A surgical approach to remove the largest polyps with minimal risk for bleeding or perforating the bowel wall.

  • Barrett's Esophagus Ablation

This endoscopic procedure uses radiofrequency to destroy pre-cancerous cells in the esophagus.

  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

This minimally invasive procedure uses both endoscopy and ultrasound technology to help a physician obtain images and information about the digestive tract and surrounding tissue and organs.

  • Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

A contrast medium is introduced through an endoscope in radiology to visualize the common bile duct, the pancreatic duct and the hepatic ducts. This is often done to detect biliary obstruction from stones, tumors, strictures or injury to the bile duct. Gallstones are sometimes retrieved via an ERCP, tissues can be biopsied and biliary or pancreatic stents placed.

  • Pancreatic Cyst Treatment

Pancreatic cysts are commonly benign but can be pre-cancerous. Techniques including Endoscopic Ultrasound with cyst fluid aspiration can assist a physician to observe and determine which pancreatic cysts require ongoing surveillance.

  • Endoscopic Suturing

This procedure uses an endoscope with an attached stitching device to repair holes in the gastrointestinal tract.

  • Endoscopic Bariatrics

This minimally invasive procedure is designed to promote weight loss and uses endoscopic suturing to reshape the stomach.
