
John Klitsch serves as the president of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound, a role he has held since August 2022. In this capacity, he leads the hospital’s overall strategy and operations, working closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care to the community. John is recognized for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to fostering strong relationships across the organization.
Before joining Texas Health Flower Mound, John served as the Professional & Support Services Officer for Texas Health Hospital Frisco, a joint venture between Texas Health Resources and UT Southwestern Medical Center. Earlier in his career, he held progressive leadership roles spanning payer, provider, and health‑system environments, including positions with CIGNA, Tenet Healthcare, Baylor Scott & White, and Texas Health Resources. These experiences have shaped his broad understanding of healthcare operations and his ability to support teams through growth and transformation.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from Lafayette College and a Master of Business Administration in Health Sector Management from Duke University. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. In addition to his hospital leadership, John serves on the Boards of the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce, Riverwalk Business Owners Association, and Timber Creek Business Owners Association.
John and his wife, Alex, moved to Dallas in 2011. They have been married for 18 years and have three children.
