Pam started at Texas Health in 2005. Under her leadership, Texas Health Specialty Hospital achieved American Nurses Credentialing Center's Pathway to Excellence® designation in 2008, as well as its redesignation in 2011, 2014 and 2017. She also led the hospital's Care Innovation and Transformation initiative through the American Organization of Nurse Executives. Subsequently, Texas Health Specialty Hospital has implemented strategies to improve patient care, improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.

Before joining Texas Health Specialty Hospital, Pam coordinated the start-up of a new satellite hospital and managed the facility for three years. She also served as the director of nursing for a 70-bed, long-term acute-care facility. Prior to her leadership roles, Pam was a medical-surgical intensive care nurse.

Pam has a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a master's degree in nursing administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. She earned a doctorate degree in nursing practice from the University of Alabama. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, Texas Organization of Nurse Executives, North Texas Chapter of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the American Nurses Association and the Texas Nurses Association. Pam is board-certified as an advanced nurse executive by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Her work has been published in the American Journal of Nursing, as well as Nurse Leader.

Pam enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family. She and her husband of 33 years, Chad, have three children.
