Requirements:

• MD or DO candidates.
• General Surgery residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
• Board certified or board eligible candidates required.
• Current Texas license or willingness to obtain.
• Seeking a general surgeon in a newly formed office with anticipation of quick and intense growth.
• Preferred start date is September 2027 (allowing 120 days for credentialling).

About the Job:

• Employed full-time position with Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) in a newly acquired clinic, Texas Health Surgical Specialists in Rockwall, Texas.
• This practice is affiliated with Texas Health Rockwall and Texas Health Kaufman (and will be affiliated with our new Texas Health Forney upon completion of construction in 2027)
• Competitive salary and benefits package will be offered.
• Provider schedule in clinic is Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM and hospital call 1-2 weeks per month.
• The preliminary plan is for the new provider to do the bulk of their time in the new Forney facility.
