Requirements:

• MD or DO candidates.
• Internal Medicine residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
• Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology completion required from an ACGME program.
• Nuclear and Echo Cardiology training/experience preferred.
• Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology required (ABIM).
• Active Texas license preferred. Seeking someone who can start November 2026. 

Position Details:

• Employed position with Texas Health Heart & Vascular Specialists, a member of Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG), including very attractive compensation and benefits package.

• The new interventional cardiologist will work exclusively out of our clinic in Frisco and Texas Health Frisco. (Texas Health Hospital Frisco is a joint venture between Texas Health Resources and UT Southwestern.

• There is no opportunity for structural heart in this practice.

• The team currently consists of 3 interventional cardiologists, 2 invasive non-interventional cardiologists, and 2 non-invasive general cardiologists.

• Call will be split equally. Currently, the team provides call and STEMI coverage at 3 of our facilities in Plano, Allen, and Frisco.

• STEMI call coverage will be shared amongst 4 participating cardiologists.

• Texas has tort reform and no state income tax.
