• The residency year begins on June 29 and commences on June 25 the following year (52-week program)

• Full-time employee of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth
  • Annual Stipend of $62,400
• PRN employee of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth (THFW)
  • Potential for moonlighting/additional shifts

• Travel funds typically available for travel to one professional meeting (ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting or comparable program-appropriate conference at the RPD’s discretion) and Alcalde Southwest Leadership Conference via Texas Health Fort Worth (dependent on budgetary status and administration approval yearly)

• 20 days of Paid Time Off (Covers Vacation, Holidays, Illness, Injury, and Personal Time)
• 2 Flex Days (may be used similar to PTO) covers one full day of work
• Up to 3 days of professional days for interviews
• Up to 7 days of professional days for conferences**

* Maximum number of allowed time off without extending the residency is 37 days per ASHP accreditation standards (** 7 days of professional leave for conferences not included in time away from program)
