Texas Health Resources is meeting the healthcare needs of the rapidly growing region with expansion projects across the Metroplex to serve the communities of North Texas. With approximately 2,500 new residents added to the region each week, these expanded and new facilities provide quality, convenient healthcare when and where our consumers need it.

Expansion of our Texas Health facilities helps to build the future of care with the necessary resources to enjoy a lifetime of health and well-being.

Texas Health Fort Worth — Jane and John Justin Tower

The Jane and John Justin Tower is the largest construction project in the history of Texas Health. The nine-story, 427,000 square-foot tower, which will initially add 144 beds and 15 new operating rooms, will increase daily surgical capacity.

Texas Health Denton — Center for Women

Texas Health Denton is the only provider of obstetrical and neonatal intensive care services in Denton. The four-story, 213,000 square-foot addition will help meet the needs of fast-growing Denton County. The facility, which was designed with extensive input from recent mothers and mothers-to-be, is expected to open in the summer.

Texas Health Frisco

Frisco is one of the fastest-growing areas in the Metroplex, with commensurate growth in care needs. With Women’s Services growing in terms of number of births and operating room volumes increasing at 8% a month, 25,000 square-foot expansion adds 30 beds and two operating suites. The expansion is expected to open this summer.

Texas Health Rockwall

Texas Health Rockwall embarked on an extensive expansion and rework of the entire hospital. The project includes a two-story addition, effectively doubling the size of the hospital. The new and expanded services will enable area residents to stay close to home for care. With 32,000 square feet of new space and renovation of 51,000 square feet in interior areas, completion is scheduled for first quarter 2023.

Texas Health Dallas — Margot Perot Center for Women & Infants

The Margot Perot Center, where 5,000 babies are delivered annually, has been a staple in the Dallas community for nearly four decades. A portion of the 362,000 square-foot facility is undergoing a renovation with an emphasis on building an environment of healing and comfort. The work should be completed in time for the center’s 40th anniversary celebration in spring 2023.

Texas Health Huguley

Texas Health Huguley’s new five-story patient tower adds more than 116,000 square feet to accommodate an expanded emergency department (20 new rooms) and intensive care unit (12 new beds). The expansion will increase capacity and the design will allow for patients to be cared for faster, improving the experience and efficiency of care in the emergency department. The tower is scheduled to open its doors in fourth quarter 2023.

Breeze Urgent Care

Texas Health will expand its Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care facilities. Sixteen months after the first Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care opened in November 2020, the 15 centers in operation across the Metroplex have served 70,000 North Texans. Texas Health plans to open additional locations this year in locations throughout Dallas-Fort Worth. With on-site prescriptions, extended hours, all-inclusive pricing and a truly patient-focused operation, Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is redefining the traditional urgent care experience.
