When a patient arrives at Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health, he or she benefits from a complimentary evaluation and assessment. Behavioral healthcare professionals determine an individual's present symptoms and past psychiatric and medical history to determine the most appropriate care type.

We offer a private entrance to help protect privacy, and the initial screening and any care are confidential.

Outpatient Treatment

Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health's outpatient services include:

• Full-Day Partial Hospital Program
  The full-day partial hospital program offers comprehensive outpatient services, including nursing and physician care, for patients who do not require inpatient care or for patients who are transitioning from inpatient treatment. The goal is to help stabilize patients using cognitive behavioral skills for daily living and self-management.
  Monday through Friday, 10 am to 4 pm
  
  
• Half-Day Intensive Outpatient Program
  Half-day Intensive outpatient programs are for individuals needing a structured therapy program that offers counseling and education in a group setting. Led by experienced clinicians, the programs provide daily support and a safe place to talk, learn problem-solving skills and practice stress-reduction techniques.
  
  Monday through Friday, 10 am to 1 pm
  
  
• Counseling for Adults with Psychiatric Disorders or Substance Abuse
  The team of counselors and psychiatrists at Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health can provide:
  • Help to identify sources of stress

Inpatient Treatment

Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health offers comprehensive inpatient care for the acute crisis stabilization of psychiatric, and substance use disorders in a safe, structured environment. The facilities are designed for the patients we serve, fostering personal attention for each patient.

The care team works together to create a treatment plan that supports recovery and guides next steps. These plans outline a strategy unique to each individual patient.

Adolescent Program

Texas Health Huguley Hospital is here to help. Seeking professional help for a teen-ager struggling with mental illness, behavioral health issues, or addiction can be difficult and overwhelming. Our health care professionals, including physicians on the medical staff and licensed counselors, will assess your child’s needs and develop an individualized care plan to help them manage their health concerns in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Patient Referrals

Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health welcomes referral calls from physicians, employee assistance programs, human resources, counselors, therapists, families or others who may be concerned about the mental and physical well-being of an individual.

Patients can also self-refer by scheduling an appointment with healthcare professionals — or by simply walking through the door of Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health location during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Appointments are encouraged. Help and hope are available in and around Burleson.

Complete Breast Care – The Breast Center, located in Texas Health Huguley Imaging Center, provides a convenient, private location with dedicated staff members to meet your breast health needs. The Breast Center is in the Texas Health Huguley Imaging Center in Medical Office Building 5 on the south end of the Texas Health Huguley campus. As you enter the building, take the first door on the left to the Texas Health Huguley Imaging Center and an associate will help you check in.

• Screening Mammograms
  
  Who should have a mammogram? - The American College of Radiology (ACR) and Society of Breast Imaging (SBI) recommend that all women begin getting annual mammograms at the age of 40. If you are younger than 40 and have risk factors for breast cancer such as family history of breast cancer, you should discuss with your health care provider when to get a baseline mammogram and how often to have screening mammograms thereafter.
  
  3D Mammography and SmartCurve™ – The Breast Center is proud to offer 3D mammography with SmartCurve™ paddles for added comfort during the exam. 3D mammography exams may help detect cancers earlier and more effectively than a traditional mammogram. It can also help radiologists distinguish harmless abnormalities from real tumors, leading to fewer callbacks and less anxiety for women.

Texas Health Huguley Outpatient Diabetes and Nutrition Center was the first hospital-based diabetes management program in Tarrant County to be accredited by the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES). We are also recognized by the American Diabetes Association and the American Association of Diabetes Educators for meeting national standards for diabetes education programs.

Urology, also known as genitourinary surgery, is the branch of medicine that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the urinary tract and urogenital system in both male and female urinary tract systems and the male reproductive organs. The organs under the domain of urology include the kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters, urinary bladder, urethra, and the male reproductive organs (testes, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate and penis). Aquablation Therapy: surgical treatment for BPH (enlarged prostate). This procedure is an advanced, minimally invasive treatment. At Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, physicians on the medical staff and specially trained support staff are available to address your problem wounds. They understand that many factors may delay or prevent the healing of your wounds.
