Andrea Newman, M.H.A., B.S.N., R.N., CPHQ, is the chief nursing and professional services officer at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville. In this role, Andrea is responsible for leading nursing practice, professional support services and clinical operations across the organization. She provides strategic oversight of patient care delivery, clinical quality, safety, nursing engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration. As a key member of the executive leadership team, Andrea helps shape care models, foster clinical excellence and ensures alignment with Texas Health’s strategic goals.

She has served as interim CNO at Texas Health Stephenville since July 2025. Previously, she served as senior director, Quality/Professional Support Services at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne.

With over 16 years of experience at Texas Health, Andrea brings extensive experience in nursing leadership, healthcare operations and strategic oversight. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing nursing practice, building high-performing teams and driving innovation in patient-centered care. Her collaborative approach, clinical insight and dedication to excellence will serve her well in this expanded role.

In her personal time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family, her husband and two adult children. Andrea and Clint are enjoying a new chapter as empty nesters and spending time outdoors, cooking (especially all things sourdough) and reading books.
