Your application will be reviewed for a match with your interests and hospital needs. If a match exists, you will be requested to come in for an interview. If your decision is to proceed as a volunteer, you will be asked to sign an authorization for a background check required of health care workers and volunteers. Once the background check is completed and cleared, we will welcome you as a volunteer and plan your orientation and training before an assignment is made.
This process usually takes 4 to 6 weeks.
