We have two positions open with our orthopedic trauma surgery group in Fort Worth, Texas. One is for an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon and the other is for a hybrid Orthopedic Joints and Trauma Surgeon.

Requirements for Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon:

• MD or DO candidates.
• Orthopedic Surgery residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
• Orthopedic Trauma fellowship completion required from an accredited program.
• Board certified or board eligible candidates required.
• Texas license required; or willingness to obtain.
• Team player attitude; Spanish-speaking a plus.

Requirements for Hybrid Orthopedic Joints/Trauma Surgeon:

• MD or DO candidates.
• Orthopedic Surgery residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
• Orthopedic Trauma fellowship or Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction (Joints) fellowship completion required. 
• Board certified or board eligible candidates required.
• Texas license required, or willingness to obtain.
• Team player attitude; Spanish-speaking a plus.
• Ideal candidate would have a combined fellowship but will also consider a Joints fellowship trained candidate with a trauma mindset.

About the Positions:

• Employed positions by Texas Health Physicians Group with Fort Worth Orthopedic Trauma Specialists, including competitive salary and benefits.
• Practice on the campus of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, a Level I Trauma Center.
• These are full-time positions.
• Call schedule is 1:4. General call may be required.
• Join this busy practice of two Orthopedic Trauma physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers.
