Located on the Texas Health Allen campus, next to U.S. Highway 75 North, the Texas Health Athlete Complex offers sports performance training, testing and fitness programs for the general public, including teams, organizations, families and individuals of all ages and abilities. The complex provides athletes and fitness enthusiasts with access to primary care sports medicine specialists, rehabilitation for injuries, fitness classes and performance training in one convenient location.

The 31,000-square-foot building includes advanced strength and conditioning training equipment, pro-style weight rooms, best-in-class turf fields and dedicated areas for sports performance training and adult fitness classes. Athletes have access to on-site orthopedic physicians and expert performance coaches, as well as a 3-D motion lab that allows sports medicine experts to capture and understand an athlete’s movement to determine where injuries could potentially occur. In addition to the amenities and programs indoors, the site includes an outdoor turf field with lights available for local teams and organizations, as well as an outdoor green space with pathways for pedestrians and bicyclists.

The performance training services of Athlete Training and Health are uniquely aligned with Texas Health and Texas Health Physicians Group in advancing human performance by providing safe and effective training programs. Texas Health Sports Medicine is committed to injury prevention as well as caring for athletes from the moment of injury to return-to-play and beyond. Sharing a common vision of lifelong well-being and redefining the relationship between human performance and healthcare, this collaboration is centered on improving the health and well-being of the people in the Allen community, and doing it in a way that brings together the best of sports science and sports medicine.
