  • Schedule Planning Meeting with Simulation Team

Once the ‘Schedule a Simulation’ form is filled out and received, a member of our team will reach out and schedule a planning meeting in-person (preferred) or via conference call. In this planning meeting, we will gather data needed to complete your simulation experience such as:
    • Define learning objectives
    • Decide on needed materials and learning space to accommodate those objectives (ex. Classrooms, manikins, task trainers and other medical equipment)
    • Review learner and content expert expectations

  • Collect and review needed materials

The simulation team will review topics discussed in the planning meeting to build your unique simulation training event. Simulation scenarios will be built on the defined learning objectives and materials will be prepared and ready to provide a seamless and successful learning experience.
  • Activity Walk Through

The simulation team will perform a walk-through of the prepared simulation activities and check for completeness.

  • Simulation Day

You will be contacted by the simulation team a few days prior to your event with reminders and expectations. On simulation day, the content expert/facilitator will be expected to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to event start time to troubleshoot and refine last minute details with the simulation team.

  • Simulation Training Center Evaluation

Evaluating the simulation center at the end of each event is vital to your success and the success of future learners. The evaluation gives us feedback on materials used, competence of instructors, and applicability of the learning objectives. The evaluation tool will also allow you to suggest revisions to the environment or curriculum to better our simulation center.
